Never thought I'd say this

But man, it sure is easy to breath up here! We just got back from a week in TN/KY. It was so humid there, it was like breathing BROTH. It was great stepping out of the Denver airport, taking a huge gulp of thin air. It was like coming up from underwater! While in KY, we had SO much fun! In Nashville, we saw the Opry, Tootsies (where the stars would eat & drink), Vanderbilt University, the Parthenon and Belle Meade Plantation. We ate at Loveless Cafe, which serves the best Southern food I've had in a while! They've been on Food Network, the Today show and many others. The biscuits RULED. Then we drove up to KY and stopped in Bowling Green for booze, right in front of the Corvette Museum & Factory. We spent the next few days visiting Chad's friends and family. Both his mom and his dad had family reunions and we went to his 10-year HS reunion. We also caught up with his friend Billy, his old art teacher and her husband and his band teachers wife. My friend Ann came down for a few days and flew out of Louisville. It was cool heading up there, eating a Hot Brown, seeing the Slugger factory (again!). We wanted to go to Churchill Downs, but its closed from flooding. We went past our old house (its sold *tear*) and just drove around the "old" places. On our way up to Louisville, we stopped at Jim Beam for a tasting. Yum! It was great visiting, but equally great to get back home.
