I am one lucky girl. My good friend EH is moving out here
from our hometown. She got back from a deployment in Iraq over the summer and has been
job-hunting ever since. She visited twice this fall, for post-deployment
meetings. She seemed to really like the area, so looked into jobs here. She
lucked out because she’ll be doing her OLD job, but here! She will be staying
with us for a bit, so I’m really looking forward to it.
Well, last weekend, The Hubs and I cleaned out the guest
room/office to make some room for EH. We found many things. Including last
years Christmas cards. That I never sent. OPPS. I just didn’t love the quality
or the design or anything, so I never got them sent out. Which is too bad,
because it was E-Boos first Christmas and I took a great picture of him next to
the tree in a baby Santa hat.
I am bound and determined to do this for 2010. This weekend,
our family is heading to a lighting ceremony where we live. Hopefully I can get
some good pictures of E-Boo for this years card. I have picked out a really
cute design (with light blue and red – my current color-combination obsession).
I found it at http://www.shutterfly.com/ cards-stationery/christmas- cards.
I even found some matchy address labels at another site.
When
I was looking through the shutterfly site, I found some other fun gift ideas.
What about a calendar, for the grandparents. What could be better than 12 months
of pictures of E-Boo?! http://www.shutterfly.com/ calendars/wall-calendars Or maybe some pre-made Thank You cards for the kiddo to
send out after his 2nd birthday in January! http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/thank-you-cards
Watch in your mailbox to see if I get this years Christmas
cards done!
