Yikes, sorry! We've had a LOT go on!!
1) I was basically on bedrest for the last month of my pregnancy. This made for a very uneventful Christmas, New Years Eve and 29th Birthday!
2) Finally, 4 days before my due date, my doctor decided to induce me. Baby was doing very well and getting him out would be best for me and my swollen self. After 24 hours of labor and the baby NOT descending, we had a c-section. Ethan Lane was born January 13th at 9:16 PM Mountain time. He is PERFECT! Unfortunately, I passed a blood clot into my lung a few days after surgery. I am dealing with it now and am doing fine, but it sure was a scary moment!
3) The dogs freaking love Ethan. He is THEIR baby. So, my fears were for nothing!
4) After SIX MONTHS of house hunting, Chad and I found a lovely townhouse in the town of Castle Rock. 3 bedrooms, an attached garage and a little fenced yard makes it perfect for our family!
5) Chad has become Catholic! He was baptized and confirmed at the Easter Vigil and March. It was an awesome experience. Next up, blessing our marriage and getting Ethan dunked as well. As for church, I have become involved in the choir and we have made friends with several incredible families.
6) Going forward, I will be doing my best to update this with our daily events and my journey to lose the baby weight.
