Today, I made two donations.
Currently, Duracell is doing a promotion where if you buy a pack of batteries they (supposedly) also donate a pack to a volunteer fire department in your area. Its worth looking into!
Also, I recently cleaned out the Kiddos closet, organized and sent some stuff to a friend and her growing son. About that same time, I received an email that there was a family who lost everything in a house fire. They have a 6 month old son. So I packed up some stuff for him also. Mostly blankets, jammies, onesies, books & toys. Also, our old Bumbo (if we need to, we'll buy another one, but E didn't really use it that much). I bought a pack of diapers & wipes. I threw in a card expressing our prayers for them, along with some coupons for free beauty products and stuff that I had collected.
What a good way to start the new week!
