There Are Places I Remember (Part 3)

The final products!
We're pretty much done! Let everything dry (overnight is best). You don't want gunk on your wall. I'm pleased with my color choices! I think if I had it to do over, I'd do darker states. Or some sort of outline. They are a bit hard to see.

Now, how to hang. I thought about nails. However, the boards on the canvas are pretty thick and I didn't have long enough nails. If you DO go that route however, here is a tip. Cut a drinking straw to a length that is the width of the wood. Slip your nail through the straw bit. That will keep the straw from going to far into the wall. You can use lots of things for this idea, Google it. Like I said, though, I didn't have long enough nails. And we rent currently, so I hate nailing.
3M Velcro thingies
I turned to the fine folks that make Post Its (it was my idea to make them yellow). If you haven't used these sticky thingies, now is your time. I have them all over my house. I hang hooks by my showers to let a towel air-dry easier. I have some in my closet for robes. Some in the garage for the broom/mop/swiffer components. Get the picture?

I tried to do just one on each canvas, but it just didn't lay right. So one on top, one on bottom. The best way to get everything lined up (in my opinion) is to stick one to the item, then line up the other, press, peel off the backing and stick to the wall. You can't possibly bang your thumb with a hammer this way!
Top & Bottom
Voila! Adorabs, right?? I'm pleased. And ready for my next project!!

Pretty!

PS: I know I mentioned a few products here. I was in no way compensated by these companies. They are just what I am used to using. I doubt they know I'm alive. Use what you want, k?
