I read a lot of blogs. News, faith, technology, parenting, beauty, recipes, celeb gossip, my friends personal ones, you name it. My favorites (besides my friends!!) are those on organizing. Like many of you, I'm sure, I am also addicted to Pinterest. There are MANY organizing tips found there as well.
I've flirted with the idea of a household notebook or binder. A place to keep my schedules, cleaning tips, favorite recipes, calendar and anything else I might need to keep my home running. I've been collecting ideas and pictures and subject matter for several months.
I figure with a new house, I can get a fresh start. I have some rough stuff already drawn up based on Fly Lady and her system. This is my project for today and tomorrow. I'll update when I'm all done! Although, it will be a working binder, so it won't be "done".
Do you have a binder? What is in it? What would you change about it? If you don't have a binder, what would you most like to see in it?
Yes! I definitely have a binder. Well, actually 2 binders (one just wasn't big enough!). I use them to collect various magazine and newspaper clippings, and just about anything else I want to keep around for reference. I have tabbed dividers for each category, from yard and home maintenance to recipes and craft ideas. The dividers have pockets, which hold smaller clippings and pamphlets. Other small clippings I just tape to full size sheets of paper so they are easier to find. Definitely nothing fancy, but it helps me stay organized.
